Avos Project - International School of Music was born from the desire to bring together in a large cultural center, located in the center of Rome, some of the most important figures in the international music scene with the aim of offering young talents the widest possible choice in terms of training and musical experience. From the main core of the project (the two-year course of Chamber Music) come complete training courses for all instruments with the idea of collegiality of teaching, a principle at the base of the poetics of Avos. These courses are complemented by seminars, special meetings and several partnerships with major European concert institutions. The second level Master's degree, in collaboration with the University of Roma Tre - Department of Education Sciences, completes an unprecedented educational offer.
The School counts, among its teachers, artists such as Thomas Demenga, Beatrice Rana, Quartetto Prometeo, Ian Bostridge, Albrecht Mayer, Riccardo Minasi, Alessio Pianelli, Luca Ranieri, Andrea Oliva, Alessandro Carbonare, Andrea Obiso, Thomas Indermuhle, Gregory Ahss, Mario Montore, David Romano, Mirei Yamada, Riccardo Savinelli, Massimo Spada, Leonardo Pierdomenico, Antonio Sciancalepore, Alessandro Deljavan, Massimo Polidori and many others.
Avos Project aims to become a reference point for classical music in Rome as well as the mirror of a rebirth that must be centered on the absolute quality of the teachers, on the recognition of the talent of the students and on beauty as the only true force capable of moving the desire that we all have, or should have, to improve ourselves.
